The Community Paramedic Practitioner Program is designed to prepare paramedics with the knowledge, skills, and clinical judgment required to support community-based healthcare initiatives and long-term care programs across Ontario.
Delivered entirely online, this instructor-facilitated program provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of community paramedicine through evidence-based learning, practical application, and reflective practice.

Learning Approach
The Community Paramedic Practitioner Program utilizes an asynchronous learning model, allowing participants to progress through the course at their own pace while receiving support from qualified instructors.
Through Problem-Based Learning (PBL), participants enhance their critical reflection and self-reflection skills while developing practical approaches to patient assessment, care planning, chronic disease management, and community healthcare delivery.

- CP07: Pharmacology
- CP08: Mental Health & Health Education
- CP09: Palliative Care & Community Paramedic–Patient Relationships
- CP10: Final Evaluation
Demonstrate knowledge acquisition and competency through a comprehensive program evaluation.
