PALS Blended Learning Course
Premergency offers unique, medically directed Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses that meet and exceed ILCOR guidelines.
This is a Blended Learning approach where we leverage our e-Learning tools to promote knowledge and skill acquisition with maximum retention. Each participant will begin their training using a self-paced online modules. These modules will review the ILCOR competencies of CPR and Pediatric Advanced Life Support prior to the Live Training "hands on" component of the program. Participants must achieve 80% passing grade to be granted an interim certification prior to attending the live practical session.
The practical session will complete your certification and provide the participant a simulated environment in managing their skills in:
- Airway Management and Ventilation
- CPR evaluation
- ECG interpretation
- Defibrillation, Synchronized Cardioversion and Pacing
- IV/IO
- Pharmacology
- Cardiac emergency(s) management
- Management of ROSC
- Team leadership
